I’m online to work not to play!
After all my past yesterday’s post I can’t believe I did manage to deal with all of the issues this week. I’m suffering from an occasional block of ideas which I felt like I’m not going anywhere and the thought that there are some people in my life who thinks I don’t deserve of what I worked so hard here. They thought I was just here again “playing online”. Oh, come on!
Maybe I was trying so hard to keep up with everything and all that jazz! So far, I’m feeling better now.
I’m very much optimistic nowadays. As some of you say this is the advantage when your work is at home you have all the time you want to take a break and to cool things off. I’m actually enjoying all the work I have here in Squidoo and it’s a dream job come true. Plus, the wonderful online community that lets you get on track on what’s new out there in the web. You are all awesome!
Thanks Katinka, Mulberry, and Poddys!

I love working from home and up until recently that’s exactly what I have done for the past 8 years. But it is amazing how other people think that somehow it is not “really a job”! I remember my Mum when I was having a rant about Lovely Hubby (doesn’t happen that often), who had not done something in the house that I needed doing and I could not do myself.
My Mum said: “But darling, he IS at work all day”. At the time I was working all hours on a contract to design and develop a massive Management Information System for a client!
Grrrrrrrr! Don’t you just love your Mother sometimes.
You are right, this is a lovely community with a great forum. I find that if I have a mental block, or I have a Squidoo problem, there is generally always someone on line who will respond to a message quickly. It’s the equivalent of stopping for coffee at work and finding someone else boiling a kettle in the office kitchen that you can have a quick chat with so you don’t feel completely isolated.
Am glad you are enjoting Squidoo – I do too.

I think that people who have that kind of remarks simply don’t understand what we are doing and, in most cases, can’t do something like that themselves! At this point, I would love to be able to stay at home and make Squidoo lenses and promote them more but for now on it’s impossible. So, I’m juggling (Hi AJ!
) between my day job and Squidoo and my husband and my baby girl and my house and… And I’m tired!
So, Naiza – if you accept an advice: Do what you do and what makes you happy. Who cares what other people says! As long as you are happy with yourself and what you have done – who are they to judge you?!? Take care!
